Meet Your Shine 2008 Volunteer Coordinator!
Hi lovely girls!
It’s getting close to Thanksgiving, but we’re already deep in planning for SHINE 08 next spring - can you believe it?
My name is Jenny Huang and I have the fun pleasure of serving as your SHINE Volunteer Coordinator. Every year, hundreds of volunteers bring forth their talent, time, and efforts to host this incredible conference. I love serving alongside all of these awesome gals - and guys! - to make SHINE happen.
Our SHINE volunteers are involved with everything from preparing conference programs and refreshing the bathrooms and hallways to playing games with little ones and extending radiant smiles and hugs at the front doors. Even the men join the fun to serve as ushers and the fabulous red carpet team! Every team member plays a part in the transformation of women’s lives at SHINE.
Consider this an invitation to be a part of the SHINE 2008 story - we would love for you to be part of our team!

Meet Your Event Coordinator
Hi gals!
My name’s Linda Riddle and I’m honored to be your Event Coordinator for SHINE 2008. We are having a blast making plans for SHINE 08 and we can’t wait to host you and your girlfriends - you are going to have so much fun!
We’ve already had several ladies register and are once again expecting a full house, so……if you haven’t registered yet, just remember Early Bird Registration Ends December 31st, so be sure to take advantage of the price break and reserve your seat!
As Pastor Kerri mentioned in one of her earlier blogs, this year - we’re going to give you inside sneak peeks of what’s going on as we make plans for SHINE 08, and you’ll also get the chance to meet several people on the team that make SHINE happen. Right now, I think one of the most exciting developments is that we’ve decided to extend SHINE by adding one extra night to our conference schedule! Isn’t that awesome? That just allows more fun, more sessions and more time to hang out with your girlfriends! We’re also working on finalizing many media pieces such as our brochure, advertisement spots for magazines, billboard ads, etc. So stay on the lookout because very soon you’ll see SHINE popping up all over Jacksonville! Lastly, we’ve added our E-Vite option to our website. This allows you to send an invitation to your girlfriends right from the SHINE website so they can register too and join you for the fun!
