Let’s Hear It For The Guys!
Hi girls! Trust your Holidays were absolutely fabulous and that you’re off to a phenomenal 2008 in Jesus!
It’s been a little while since we last touched base with ya, so just wanted to keep you in the loop of the latest happening with SHINE 08! Our absolutely gorgeous SHINE 2008 brochure is going off to print this week, (YES!) and our promotional video is going through final edits as well….so you’ll be seeing both of these pieces real soon! As you know, we closed early bird registration December 31st and lots and lots of women and teenagers signed up over the Holidays! The conference is going to quickly start filling up, so make sure you invite all your girlfriends to join us and reserve their spot! You’re all going to have so much fun!
So now I guess you’re wondering why I entitled today’s entry “Let’s Hear It For The Guys”??? Well, as you can probably imagine it takes a huge team of awesome people to pull SHINE together each year, and while most of this team is comprised of women…..there are several awesome men of God that also help make it happen as well! So….I thought I’d introduce you to just a few of them! Meet Ryan, Alex and Luke!
Ryan (L) is our videographer and was responsible for capturing most of the footage that will be used in our SHINE Promotional Video. (Way to go Ryan!) Ryan and his wife Jenny (Also a videographer) have a beautiful little son named Josh, there’s a lot of talent flowing in that family! Alex (Center) is our webmaster (a.k.a. computer genius) and takes care of all our “tech-y” stuff. I’m constantly amazed as to how smart Alex is, we are truly blessed to have him on our team! And I have to say, Alex is probably one of the joyous people I have the privilege of knowing. And lastly, Luke (R) is one of our graphic designers. Okay, Luke -WAY CREATIVE! He is responsible for taking the inspiration for SHINE 08 and helping us put together the gorgeous brochure that you will be seeing soon! Luke is also a daddy - he and his wife Monica have a beautiful little girl named Shalom! Many thanks to these guys and all the others that value what SHINE does in the lives of women and give of their absolute best!

I want to give a shout out to my husband, Luke Romer! Not too many people know that it is you who creates all the beautiful and amazing graphics they see every week not only for Shine but for Celebration. You are extremely talented and I know you don’t hear it enough so I thought I would be the one to tell you, that without your graphics and creativity Shine and Celebration just wouldn’t be the same. I love you!

Can I just say “Ditto” on everything said about these guys? I had the wonderful honor and opportunity to work with Ryan and Luke on this year’s SHINE video and it was my first time meeting Luke. I was VERY impressed, not just with his creativity, but his heart for the Lord and truly being a God-first guy. He is amazingly creative and does not compromise putting God first in any way, for that creativity. Your wife should be very proud. Ryan - always a blessing, so cheerful. He and his wife Jenny did my wedding video and love story…it was the hit at our wedding. Alex -such a joyful spirit. Really, you can say the same things about all these guys. Thank you so much for being such great examples of Godly men!

Wow, imagine how proud I felt as a Mother to see my son’s picture and read about these guys!!! I absolutely cannot wait for SHINE - I am always in awe of how great it always is and how everything is so well put together and just perfect! Friday night (prayer meeting) was so amazing I could hardly sleep Friday night. Thank you Celebration Church, Pastors STovall and Kerri for all you do and for being wonderful vessels for God. You are loved and prayed for always! IN HIS LOVE - we give God all the Praise and Glory!!!
