			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just letting all of you wonderful ladies that have registered for SHINE after May the 3rd know that there will be a <strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Will Call at all of our Celebration locations at the SHINE booth this weekend</span></strong>. This will enable you to pick up your wrist band (your ticket and entry into the whole conference) and not have to attend Will Call the day of conference.</p>
<p>For those of you that regisitered before May the 3rd we have send out another batch of confirmation letters and wrist bands just this week, so yours will be in the mail if you haven&#8217;t recieved it already.</p>
<p>Dont forget if you haven&#8217;t yet regestered for SHINE you are still able to this weekend at the SHINE booth and also online at <a href="http://www.shineinc.org">this</a> website</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A big <strong>THANK YOU</strong> to all of the guys and gals who signed up to serve at SHINE! It’s shaping up to be an incredible event team this year – nearly 200 volunteers will be greeting in the parking lot, cleaning toilets, placing seat drops, caring for babies, and setting up stage designs – all in preparation for conference guests to experience the transforming presence and power of God. Excitement continues to build – we can’t wait!</p>
<p>Volunteer sign up has closed, but we wanted to send a few key updates for our incredible SHINE team members:<br />
• Don’t forget – <strong>Volunteer Training Night</strong> is this upcoming <strong>Thursday at 7 pm at the Midtown Annex</strong>. Light dinner and childcare will  be provided. Pastor Kerri will share fresh vision for the event, we’ll discuss the event flow, and team coordinators will breakout into team-specific training.<br />
• All those who signed up to serve should have received their team assignment via email or phone. Please make sure to confirm your volunteer registration online through the online link provided. Volunteers registering at the discounted price will need to confirm and pay by Thursday, May 7th.<br />
• We’ve filled up most of our volunteer slots – except for the <strong>Childcare Team</strong>. If you’re interested in serving at the event and haven’t signed up yet, we will have open spots with our amazing Childcare Team. Remember that those serving with this team register for free.<br />
• <strong>Men</strong> – if you or know any men who are available, we’re looking for a team of guys to help with stage set up on <strong>Wednesday,</strong> <strong>May 13th</strong> in the evening. (no midweek service) If guys are available during the week leading up to SHINE, we would love their help with facilities/set up as well. SHINE couldn’t happen without the incredible men!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi, everyone! I am writing to let you know about a little &#8220;add-on&#8221; to the SHINE schedule this year &#8212; one I am super excited about! On Friday afternoon we will be adding a <span style="color: #000000;">Q &amp; A panel/luncheon</span>. This will be a smaller, more intimate enviroment designed to strengthen your inner world. Our featured guests on this panel will be three of my good friends from <a title="ARC" href="http://www.relatedchurches.com" target="_blank">ARC (Association of Related Churches). </a></p>
<p>All of these girls, besides being pastors of thriving local churches, are amazing wives, moms, friends, and leaders. But like you, they are also trying to find their way step by step on this crazy journey of life. In my opinion, they have all done an incredible job of keeping it fun, keeping it real, and still setting high standards of excellence in their personal and professional lives. I hope you will grab a few of your friends and join us for lunch Friday to hang out and chat for a bit.</p>
<p>Finally, I could really use your help in making this panel as meaningful and relevant as possible. I could come up with some questions for our panel guest, but I&#8217;d rather hear from you &#8212; what questions do you want answered? No topic is off-limits. Let me know which topics and/or questions you would like us to address, and we will build the session around what you most want to hear. You can post the questions in the comments section of this blog .</p>

<p><em>Hiya gals!<br />
</em>Anticipation is building as we prepare for <strong>SHINE</strong> – can you believe it’s coming up in less than one month? You know, when I think about placing value on womanhood, a collage of images from past <strong>SHINE</strong> conferences forms in my mind:<br />
A HOST team member changing toilet paper rolls in the bathroom; a childcare team member who soothes a crying baby; the cheerful Guest Service gal who stands outside by the parking entrance waving to attendees; the Media Team member operating a video camera so the image of the speaker appears on screen; the Usher gentleman who escorts an elderly woman to her seat; there are so many more.<br />
All of these individuals are part of the <strong>SHINE</strong> team – the company of servant-hearted guys and gals who utilize their talent and availability to ensure the best possible experience for <strong>SHINE</strong> attendees. It takes TEAM to make <strong>SHINE</strong> happen!<br />
Everyone from the parking lot greeter and usher to the childcare leader and choir member serves in such a way that attendees are welcomed, recognized, appreciated, and cared for, making room for them to experience the beautiful presence of God.<br />
There are two main types of teams: general and specialty. All general teams include Guest Services, H.O.S.T., Registration, Childcare, and Resources. All specialty teams require specific skill and have generally already formed or are forming right now &#8211; these include our After Party Dance Team, Media, Food Services, Parking and Ushers. (The event wouldn’t be the same without our male volunteers!)<br />
New this year: Volunteers will register at a discounted price of $30. Because there are varying levels of time commitment among teams, many volunteers will have an opportunity to participate in sessions. Those that will miss a majority of the conference sessions will be able to register for free. The Childcare and several specialty teams will register for free.<br />
Don’t forget about the <strong>SHINE</strong> Volunteer Training Night required for all team members on Thursday, May 7th at 7 pm at Midtown Annex. This is when Pastor Kerri will share fresh vision about the conference, we’ll give you the full low-down on event flow, and we will breakout into team-specific orientation.<br />
It’s all about placing value on womanhood at every stage of life and our <strong>SHINE</strong> team helps make it happen. I would consider it an honor to serve alongside you – hope you will join the team!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">With SHINE only weeks away I wanted to encourage you to gather your girls together and get them registered. Please<span lang="EN"> remember the price remains at $60.00 until April 30<sup>th</sup>, <sup> </sup>so reserve your seat TODAY! I am the Operations Director for the conference and I am so excited about all that we have in store for you this year. We had a walk- through about a week and a half ago in order to map out the placement of everything, and let me just tell you….it is going to be <strong>AMAZING!</strong> Get ready for a beautiful atmosphere, loads of fun and most importantly a powerful touch from our Heavenly Father! Pastor Kerri has really poured her heart and soul into this event and it is going to be a time that you don’t want to miss. Some of you might not realize all that goes on behind the scenes but there are loads of people working their hardest to get God’s house ready for all his wonderful daughters. You have no idea how much we are blessed by all of you coming in and receiving all that He has in store for you! <strong>Can’t wait to see you all there!</strong></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Our children’s team is so excited for Shine 2009!!</strong> We know that God has a special word for you, and that this year is going to be life changing experience. Our goal is to provide a safe and fun environment for your children, so you can enjoy the conference and receive everything God has in store for you.  Childcare is available at SHINE for children ages 0-5 years old, but please be sure to pre-register your children. Spaces are filling up quickly, so its important to reserve a spot for your little ones!!</p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> Just so you’ll know, childcare is open during all sessions of the event. Our classrooms are fully stocked with games, toys and a playroom to get the wiggles out!!  We also provide snacks during all sessions for the kids, however, be sure to plan ahead for their meals. </p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> If you have any questions regarding childcare, please feel free to email me directly <a href="mailto:acrockett@celebration.org">acrockett@celebration.org</a>.   Once you have registered your children, you will receive an email from me one week prior to SHINE with more specifics to make your child’s experience an awesome one!  Looking forward to loving on your Babies!! <span style="font-family: Wingdings;">J</span></p>
