God’s love for humanity is a love-in-action. His goodness is goodness-in-action, never passive. Celebration Church Zimbabwe wil be hosting their 2nd annual SHINE conference in 2012. This conference has been so impactful on the women of Zimbabwe. Women were pampered and made to feel beautiful, and encouraged and to know that they have a significant role to play in their world. You can be a part of providing this life-changing opportunity to your sisters in Africa by sponsoring conference tickets. The cost is $10 and covers the cost of a 2 day conference, meals and transportation. Be a part of our global sisterhood!
Meal Drive for Eugene Butler Middle School
Eugene Butler is a school located in an area of Jacksonville named the “New Town Success Zone”. Residents in this area face extreme poverty, with over 90% of children participating in the free/reduced lunch program. Many children who attend EBMS eat only at school. Weekends and school breaks pose a difficult challenge as these families struggle to provide food for their children. This year, we will be gathering non-perishable, ready-to-eat food items in preparation for the upcoming summer break. Non-perishable items such as granola bars canned fruit and canned meat will be collected throughout the SHINE conference at our LIA booth.
